The Poetic Ride Published by seldrok
June 27, 2008 – 3:17 pmThe lonely stream meandering
A free mind train
A misty tributary joins the ride
Down the silent hill
Through the meadow
Passing by lovers’ bosom
The river gleefully winders
With its crystal tide
Singing and echoing through woods
Heading Home
Down to the ocean
Wishing the pilgrimage ne’er ends
A night’s incessant rain
Flooded the beauty of the stream
The purity stained
The blue colour terminated
The adorned beauty is thus wrenched by fate
Oh the fatal night!
The murky water
Changed its course
Heads home displeased
Only with the hope to be cleansed
As it reaches and merges with ocean.
But the lone river submerged in nostalgia
Wrecked by memories
Wishes to re-ride the journey!
