An Interview Published by seldrok
April 30, 2008 – 5:29 pmSeldrok is waiting for her head teacher’s interview in a queue…1…. 2…. 39…..40….41…all come and go. (She walks around, sits down and checks in countless times). …I am 50 in the list. What might be the questions? What if they ask me to translate Dzongkha script.what if…..my God!!! When will this interview be over? Oh my palms are wet…I feel stiff about my neck.I hate waiting. It is the most tedious job especially when you know that you are going to be examined and judged!!!
(She stands up, walks around) Maybe I better eat some sweets. They are supposed to be energizer…my stomach seems troubled……ouch…Yuk… (She throws up.) Oh people say that when we are nervous we must utilize our energy .(She walks around and kicks at stones) but this is more exhausting.Shakespeare once said “cowards die many times before their death, valiant taste death but once” so am I a coward? No I am not. I must not lose my confidence. After all, those sitting inside are also humans…ok let me think of some questions they probably might ask me. …hmm …. “What took you so long to decide?” what should I say? Yes I will say that I had been learning and experiencing : yes that is what I will say,see they can never snuff my spirit!! .yes I will say that! (The Office A ssistant calls no .50.) Oh My God Oh My God now…this is it.Hey can some body tell them I am not here? I wish I could disappear. I wish I could sink…ok here I enter now (She walks in). Hey will nobody tell me to sit? (She was made to sit. Five pairs of eyes focused on her). Look at those eyes, just wait, I will pop them out of their sockets hey say something …cant you see I am a baggage of nerves (the questions were bombarded from every direction)hey wait, I am not a robot. Let me deal one at a time..focus..focus….these people are just trying to make me nervous!!! What’s up this time? Why is this clock standing still? (After what it seemed like an hour they said thank you madam) Gosh! It is over. Another experience, another bonus, another flavor added to my life! I walk out gleaming.
*Readers i wrote this experience of mine as an example for Monologue employing “stream of consciousness”.I wrote it few years back and yeah if anyone wants to know the result i got through. But denied the post over my master.I hope i got the skill right

Daer Seldrok,
It is good that you share your experiential learning amongst the charo network users. I would very much agree that experiential learning is the most realistic learning. We learn a lot from it.Every perfect politicians sucess from trial an error.
